Anxo: Why you should dine here

Basque cuisine, beverages and traditions take center stage at Anxo Cidery & Pintxos Bar in Truxton Circle. To that end, Anxo (pronounced AHN-cho) is featuring Basque (the area in Spain and France along the Pyrenees Mountains) cider as well as pintxos – Basque small bites – that pair with the cider. Executive Chef Alex Vallcorba’s cuisine focuses on seafood, charcuterie and meat, while Tim Predergast, the beverage director, is focusing on ciders – those made in-house and from around the world.
